I think that's true, Andy...but if you lean to the right, who do you vote for now?
I don't think you have a party any more...you certainly aren't going to have a Presidential candidate this cycle.
Fish on...

I firmly believe most republicans are decent folks who only what what’s best for America, as are most Democrats. But when it comes to divisiveness one need only consider the house Senate minority leaders comments that the republican’s primary goal for the next four years is to assure Obama is not reelected.
One of my fishing buddies is very far right and spends all day listening to right wing hate talk. Why do I call it hate talk? My friend is convinced that Obama’s goal is to destroy America. Where did he get that? From right wing talk radio.
You bet there are hateful left wing talk radio wackjobs, but not nearly as many on the right. Where the left uses humor ALA John Stewart, Bill Mahr, Steven Colbert, most of the right uses vitriol ala Hannity, Rush and so many others.
As for the original point of this post I see no reason to think that many or most conservatives are knuckle dragging racists, but I am also sure that the vast majority of knuckle dragging racists would describe themselves as conservatives.

I liked the part of the article where they described Palin as "cunning." I did a doubletake and thought, damn they almost got the right word there. I picture you as about 3 bills and haven't had sex in at least 10 years. Without even going into the myth of "trickle down economics", aka "Reaganomics", aka "fuckin disaster"...on matters of sociology, biology, psychology...they just make it all up.
Facts? Who needs facts?
If we can find someone or something else to blame it on...well, that's all the facts we need.
Abstinence only education?
Only gays get AIDS?
Jesus rode on dinosaurs?
Birthers?
Death Panels?
WMD's?
The war on drugs?
The war on Terrah?
Immigration?
That's just a short and quick list of some of the things that most Republican voters are flat out wrong about, in spite of many facts and studies that should direct them at least in the direction of the truth.
They don't like the truth, because the truth tells them that they just might be part of what is making their lives so sad and pathetic...for the "personal responsibility" party supporters, they sure like it when it's someone else's fault, especially if that person is poor, gay, black, brown, yellow, orange, green, has a college degree, is a scientist, or just a person who is generally well-read and uses facts and logic in their arguments...the so-called "intellectuals".
It's far more fun to just be stupid and angry...and that's why you see the Republican Clownfest pandering to the stupid and angry...they know who their base is...just because their supporters don't use logic or facts in coming up with their opinions doesn't mean the politicians using them and pandering to them don't.
Fish on...
Todd and you have ran a perfectly good company into the ground. fish on... fraud
